Anse Source d'Argent (Sours d'Argent Bay) is one of the most famous beaches in the world. It is there that the best photos in the Seychelles are obtained. The image of this picturesque beach is often found in advertising and adorns the covers of catalogs dedicated to the Seychelles. The best way to get to it is through the plantation museum. You have to pay a few dollars for the entrance and this also gives you the opportunity of the shortest road to the beach.
Granite boulders are interspersed with palm trees, under which huge palm crabs can be found. However, there is no depth there - the beach is shallow, you can only go into the water up to your waist. The coastal zone here is covered by a coral reef, thanks to which the water is always calm and warm. Nearby is a house built in the Creole style, in which the filming of the film "The Return of Emmanuelle" took place.
