Golden hind

(Cephalopholis aurantia)

Pale orange to orange-yellow or even golden body with red or yellow dots on the head. The posterior margin of the caudal fin has a pale blue border and a black line preceding it. The largest recorded length is 60 cm. It occurs on steep reefs and feeds on fish.
